WELCOME!
St. Andrew’s Episcopal School is a warm and inviting community. Established in 2001 as an outreach of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, we serve children ages eighteen months to six years old in a Montessori environment.
The foundation of all we do here at St. Andrew’s is based on our mission statement: “We are a welcoming Episcopal, Montessori school that educates and nurtures the whole child and family with love and respect.” Our small class sizes, supervised by certified Montessori teachers, allow us to focus on the individual interests and needs of each child entrusted to our care.
Our Montessori classrooms are thoughtfully arranged and meant to be inviting, which sets the stage for activity that is focused and calm. Learning materials are displayed on accessible shelves, which fosters independence as students go about their work. The children are aware of where everything in the classroom is supposed to be, which conveys a sense of harmony and order that both comforts and inspires the students. Children find joy in learning in this safe and empowering environment. Our goal is to provide learning experiences that allow children to develop the skills to become successful learners within the classroom and, more importantly, to develop the self-confidence, independence, compassion, and sense of responsibility that will allow them to become successful members of society long after their experience at St. Andrew's Episcopal School.
Our website gives you an overview of our program, but the best way to experience the excitement is to visit us! We welcome you to take a tour of our school and meet with our staff. Information about tours can be found under the Admissions tab on this website.
